The net turnover of VNG International in 2019 amounts to  27,287,244 Euro. With 43,0 % of the turnover the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the largest client, followed by the European Commission, the World Bank, foreign national governments and other international donors. The fiscal year was finalised with a positive result of 253,000 Euro before taxation and including sale of participations. The remaining amount will be used to strengthen democratic local government, including a contribution of 35,000 euro to the VNG Fund for Emergency Aid, Reconstruction and Peacebuilding, which was established early 2018. Although it is too early to know to what extent, the financial performance in 2020 will for sure be influenced by the corona crisis.
